WilcomWorkspace Estimator

Embroidery businesses need a reliable way to estimate stitch counts and pricing based on clients' design images, garment types, and order quantities.

Accurate quotes are crucial, as stitch count directly impacts costs, and misestimations can affect both customer satisfaction and profitability. A streamlined solution is needed to simplify and improve the accuracy of this estimation process.

Problem

What does Estimator do?

Save price tables to get instant pricing

Since Estimator was integrated with WilcomWorkspace, it adopted the same design language as Truesizer. I started the project by using these components to develop an interface that allows users to upload an image, convert it into an embroidery design, and display essential design details.

Process

User flows created for Estimator

My goal was to design the app to be intuitive, enabling users to swiftly estimate prices when creating quotes for customers. Additionally, users can utilize Estimator to present and discuss design details or pricing with customers while taking orders.

Users can save their business price tables in Estimator, which will then be used to display accurate pricing for digitizing and producing embroidery designs. This automation reduces the need for manual calculations and minimizes errors.

Project outcome

Within two weeks of launch, Estimator gained over 100 subscriptions, and now has 500+ subscribers. This steady growth reflects strong demand for an affordable and specialized embroidery estimation tool. Additionally, several feature requests from users are already planned for implementation, highlighting the growing engagement and continued development of the product.
